I'm Steve T...my best wishes to all members using this site. I am a retired Army, partially disabled veteran and second generation paratrooper. If you watched Band of Brothers, my father was there on the hill at Bastogne where he was badly wounded on Dec 25, 1944. He refused medivac and stayed on the line. He passed away in 2003. I carried or made simple knives from files, buck saw blades, etc. in my pre-Army years. Nothing fancy but they would skin a squirrel or rabbit. I retired from the Army in 1996 and now work as an IT Data Architect in Northern Virginia. When I built my home here I slowly accumulated equipment for a woodworking shop where I made antique replicas, humidors, sayas for Japanese blades, etc. When I developed COPD I gave up woodworking due to the dust problems. I had greart filtration equipment and wore masks, but you could not escape 100% of the dust. So I slowly reoriented on knifemaking again after reading Wayne Goddard's books. Though I could use Oxyacetylene, I'm sticking to stock removal only until I move to my land in the mountains of NC. That's about it. You can look under supplies and services for other stuff I can do for other members.
