New forge

I was thinking about one of these for a blower they also have a 3" that's 130CFM. Nice thing is their DC so putting a control on to adjust CFM would be easy and, I could transport and use a 12VDC battery to run it too. I have a tendency to over think things! LOL!!

Overthinking things would be using the compressed propane to run the blower before it goes to the burner. :)

12VDC wouldn't be a bad way to go. especially for a travel forge.

Just as a test when Atlas Forge came out with their blown forge using that setup, I ordered a similar setup, rigged up a 3/4" blower tube and darn if it didn't work good. A small 12v battery is all it takes. With the proper sized burner tube it doesn't take near as large a blower as most folks think. All at a cost of less than $20 for the blower and speed controller (at the time)
