I am a noivce at constructing my own knives but have been a collector since i was young. My first was given to me by a WWII vet whom I used to cut his lawn and shovel his driveway. He gave me his bayonet off his Garand. That was 27 years ago. Excited to see there is someone local in the business to talk with and excited to get advise to all of you.

I don't think it is, I'll have to check. It's pretty beat up, didn't want to do anything to it for fear of losing value.
