My latest work...Trailing Point Skinner...sort of!

This knife was put on a shelf for a while. It was the first knife I ground using my belt grinder...everything up to that point was made by files and sandpaper. Needless to say the adage of mistakes happen faster with the grinder certainly held true. I just finished building my etching machine and not wanting to use the bull nose skinner I am making for a friend as my guinea pig I went ahead and heat treated this blade and sanded it out. After doing all that and etching it I though it looked kind of cool so I did a quick cord wrap on it to see how it would look. I think maybe I'll go ahead and do wood handles soon. Anyhow let me know what you think.

Thank you guys...I have learned a lot form this forum. It seems like with each knife I am seeing improvements. I have a lot of inspiration here as well...seeing the awesome work everyone here is doing keeps me trying harder on the next one.
