Another knife/sheath finished up. 1095, brass bolster, brass pins, and desert ironwood. And a happy little sheath. I am liking the studs for connection.

I have been busy with life, leather, knives, and assorted other interests. But, I finished up a knife that I made with my nephew. We tried to make this knife in a weekend that he visited. We got about 75-80 percent. Not bad. Finally finished it up.

Made from HHH Damascus. It started as raindrop pattern. On the bevels it disappeared. Still a nice pattern.

Knife has purple redwood burl handles that are beautiful. My pictures suck and you cannot see as much beauty. My bad.

A coyote stamped sheath that he selected. Stitched edge and not braided. It’s been a while for me.

It’s going to a good home. Should be loved. Enjoy the pictures.

First one is a small hunter pattern. Made from 1075 carbon steel. Right at 8 inches total length. Handle is redwood burl, green g10 liner, and 3/16 inch brass pins. Sheath is medium brown with brown thread. Someone on KD traded the redwood to me. I cannot remember who it was, but, thank you. It turned out beautifully!! If it was you please post so I can personally thank you.

Next is a new pattern that I call Ranger. 7.5 inches overall length. Made from 1075 carbon steel. Rosewood handle, purple g10 liners, 3/16 inch brass pins. Sheath is tan with black thread. Again, someone on KD traded with me for the rosewood. I cannot remember who it was. If it was you, thank you. Turned out beautiful. First time using it. I really like the look. It is a hard wood. I will use it again.

Very nice. I like the color combinations you've done there. It also looks as if it feels good in the hand.
I'm also a fan of deep sheaths and I really like this one, no metal to get in the way, scratch things up or get hung up on things. Easy to stow in ones kit for traveling, camping etc.
