It has been a while since I posted a finished knife.? In my defense, it was a cold winter here in Nebraska. I do not have a heated shop. I got a corner in the garage. But, I make due.

Here is a fillet knife that I have been working on all winter. 440c, 11 inches oal, 6.5 inch blade. Blue g10, brass, whitetail horn handle. Brass guard. Scary sharp. Watch out fishes! Headed to the Bering Sea.

Pictures are better than words.

Like I said, I have been a bit busy.

One of my favorite patterns. I call it small hunter. I have made a lot of this pattern.

1075 high carbon steel. 8.5 inches oal, 4.5 inch handle, 4 inch blade. Orange g10 bolster, orange and black g10 with brass spacer, orange/black/white (trio) g10 handle, brass pins. Buffalo stamped sheath with braiding.

Another knife completed. Again, small hunter. This one sports a brass bolster, black g10 spacer, boxelder burl end cut scales and brass pins. Bear stamped sheath with braiding.

A couple years ago, Larry Franklin, was my Secret Santa in the KD Christmas giveaway. He gifted me the boxelder burl end cut scales. Thank you Larry. I think they turned out terrific.

Awesome work Dennis! And your leatherwork is inspiring me again, as always. On the sheath for the filet knife, is there something inside to protect the line of stitching?

Just finished my first Damascus knife. Triple H (Randy Haas) Damascus - twist pattern. Stainless guard, throat, pin. Vintage stag handle. Probably 25 or more years old. 4.5 inch blade. 5 inch handle. Saddle tan sheath, duck stamp, black braiding.

Happy Easter Knife Dogs!

Memorial Day knife. Ebony and ivory. Some stainless steel. HHH Damascus - twist. Double stitched sheath. Just a bit longer than 9.5 inches OAL.

The ivory is a hippo tooth. I intentionally left the enamel in the top strap. On the very end is a cavity.
