Very nice Dennis, well played on the knife retension system, I've never seen that.

It is not my original idea. I've seen a couple of similar retention straps made by a maker named Greg Dashevsky (sp.). I changed it a bit but used his idea for inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look around. I will add knives as they get completed. It seems to ebb and flow and I'm slowing down a bit, I guess. I have a few in the pipeline. Keep looking.

Here are my latest creation. 1075, Natural Elk, and 416 Stainless Steel. Larger knife is 10 inches overall. Smaller knife is 8.5 inches overall. Wickett & Craig leather in a basketweave pattern.

Wow! The last knife I posted was back in October 2017. It is now March 2018. Almost five (5) months ago. Jeepers. It has been a long cold winter filled with adventures other than knife making. So here is a new start to 2018. 440C hidden tang with a blade right at 4.25 inches. Handle is dyed mule deer antler right at 4.5 inches. 416 SS and brass guard, pins, etc. Some jimping, a swedge, and a mosaic pin in the butt cap. Wickett and Craig leather. Oh, and dark pictures that do not make me very happy. Sorry.
