I'm having so much fun with this I just have to post it everywhere. This one's weighing in at 27.2 oz.
Here's my entry for the JerzeeDevil Balisong Build-Off. Well, this was a bit of a challenge! I made the blade twice, and the second blade had to be heat treated twice. I made two sets of handles that failed, and finally succeeded with the third (which also needed two hardenings). Definitely a learning experience!
The blade is 3/16" 01. The handle liners are 1/8" 1095. The pivots are 5/16" pins that I drilled and tapped to make adjustable. The wood scales are stained red oak. Here it is!:
