Looking for precut squares

I was just looking at USA Knife Maker Supply and noticed that Tracy sells
8/9 oz. 12''x12'' Leather squares.
Is there anywhere to get 6/7 oz. precut squares?

They may exist but not to my knowledge.

You'll probably need to spring for a "single shoulder" at minimum to get 6-7 oz.

I've checked every leather catalog I've got and can't find a single 6-7 oz. square, Ern. I think Josh has the right answer. Denny
 
There will be much less waste if you spring for a double shoulder or something anyway if you plan to make more than one or two little projects. Cant make much with a little 12 inch square.
 
Try Zackwhite.com or the old standby Tandyleatherfactory.com. Tandy has a newsletter you can sign up for. They just had some unbelievable bargains around the holidays. If you can buy in bulk. If you buy 12x12 squares you'll waste a whole lot of material. If you get the whole double shoulder you can get a bunch more sheaths out of it.
