WoW, that's stunning! Did you do the beadwork as well? I've always thought I'd like to try my hand at that.

Randy, I may have the same loom you do, its heavy wire and dowel rods? I've had it since Boy Scouts, but it does the job, however clumsily. I've always wondered if there was a better system.

KT, outstanding work as usual! I'm constantly in awe of what you do. :)

Dwayne, mine is made from a tree branch and rawhide...I think I'll find me a "store bought" one...

Thanks Terry, always a pleasure....

That's amazing! I love it!

The wire and dowel rod types were all the rage back in the sixties and seventies when I got mine, I see them all the time in estate sales and garage sales around here. With a little time you could find one for a song.

This one is under ten bucks brand new, it looks short but the wires can be bent out. http://www.amazon.com/Alex-Native-America-Bead-Loom/dp/B0006ORAEO

Here's a build it yourself, really really nice one! http://www.crazycrow.com/crafts/deluxe-adjustable-beadloom.php

Nice, I used to also have a beadloom when I was in Boy Scouts! Made a few bracelets and stuff on it!

Do you guys make up your own designs or do research on designs used by particular tribes?

What ever it ends up being with me. Lots of people do correct designs. Keith and Grizzly Thank You KT

Beautiful sheath Kid. The bead work is amazing as is the rest of the adornments. You have some real Indian blood in ya. :)
