Kitchen Duo

The first of a few set i am working on. Kitchen knife duo set in 3mm RWL34 with a shot blast finish on both blade and handles. The handles are 2mm orange G10 under black G10 with stainless fittings. The large one measures 300mm over all with a 180mm blade and the smaller one is 205mm over all with a blade of 95mm.

Great lookin set, but I'm afraid I wouldn't let the little hide in the kitchen for long. I'd be making a sheath for it and carrying it around for as a multipurpose blade.

12 bar compressor, blasting cabinet & some media.

i use a mix of 1/3 old 120 grit sand to 2/3 fine glass beads for the blasting media. this gives the blades a nice smooth finish but also gives the G10 an orange peel texture which is superb when wet.
