Sorry for the long delay, life has a way of getting in the way of what ever plan I make. I have, however been able to make some progress.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I had to remake the guard before final assembly because I dropped it and put a ding in it that I couldn't get rid of or ignore. here is the new guard being fit and pressed into place prior to shaping. IMG_6576.JPGIMG_6577.JPG

I like to make framed handles too. That is an interesting setup on your frame. The finished product looks awesome.

And just think, Fred is the unlucky KITH recipient of my knife. In comparison to his work, my knife looks more like an ice pick.

That file work on the spine has to be my favorite ever - it is like a ribbon or waves - I must know, what is it called? Very fine piece of craftsmanship there sir... wow.

Greg, I fiddled and fretted over that file work making about 3 different practice runs and didn't much care for any of them. The side profiles looked alright but the view from the top just wasn't cutting it. Lots of Dr. Google searches and head scratching later that was the pattern that came out. I doubt it is a new pattern but I couldn't say what the name is for it.
