I haven’t decided yet, but I may do a through tang, with a pommel and nut. Either way I will still step down the tang.Looks good to me . I like how you stepped down the tang again after the guard. That's what I do too.

I like where it's headed also. Gotta love those sinuous curves.I snuck in a little shop time and got a start on the bevels. No idea why the quarter is there. For whatever reason I find it much easier to get a good controlled bevel on bigger knives. My usual is small hunters, and I struggle mightily, which is how most of my knives end up as full flat grinds. This one is far from done, but I like where it’s headed.
