Kev’s KITH Bowie WIP

I got most of my finish grinding done. I left the edge intentionally thick pre-heat treat (.090), to try and mitigate warpage, still warped, but was fairly easy to straighten. So I thinned out the cutting edge, and got the grind lines where I wanted them. Now for blade it’s on to hand sanding. 13A45F6C-B5D0-45C3-A058-D9D6AACADD5D.jpeg
Behind the blade is the piece of wood I’m thinking of using. Id like to hear opinions on that. It’s turkish walnut, an off cut from a Holland&Holland restock.

Walnut is great and usually very stable. Do a few guns myself so always have a few bits. Very nice grain for a knife
