Hey all. Am new to knife making and am building up my knowledge base before attempting my first. Any advise is welcomed.
 
Hey bud, welcome. I'm a newbie too. Used to live in San Diego until 6 months ago I moved to southern Oregon. Its quite an addiction (knife making). I made my first by stock removal by file....lots of work. bought a craftsman 2x42 and modified for variable speed. Just moved to a KMG. Went from a charcoal bbq to an evenheat kiln all since last November. Take your time, experiment, and have fun!
 
First off welcome to the pack. Second you will screw up atleast one knife and every one does it. Its how you learn from it is how you learn.
 
Welcome to the pound . We are neighbors I am out in Temecula. Be sure to ask lots and lots of questions. Lots of good folks here that are more than willing to help.
