Love the hamon.
Did that Elk come from our buddies place? I think I tripped over that horn once.
My only suggestion might be to lose the lower overhang on the pommel plate. If it were thicker and you could shape it a little forward it might be a little smoother looking.
Just my opinion, you know I like all your work. In fact, I have a Franklin in my pack and it hunts with me everyday.

I'm not really into the pommel furniture...but I dont have anything in mind instead.

Steve in fact i heard that piece say watch out for Steve's foot as i was putting it on the knife lol. That is the one.
The pommel...... ? i don't know looks OK but is really comfy when you swing it tho. i just don't know.
Lagrange..... the hardware on pommel im trying something new wanted a lanyard but was unwilling to drill a hole in the antler so we will see how it works if not i will scrap.

That is a perfect piece of antler mated up with a very fine blade.
I agree with Kevin on the pommel. There is plenty of curve to the antler for a solid grip adn I would think it would pinch or bite into the pinky.
Is it a through tang ? It would be interesting to see some pics prior to assembly.

Firecog it is a through tang i used mike carters trick from the tutorials section. the only thing i did different was i soldered filled the inside with bedding compound and let that set up before i screwed the pommel on, cuz when i dry fitted it the first time bolt spun out the hole. HAS for the pommel the dogs have spocken! its comming off and being reshaped, post pic when done, thanks for the comments guys it allways helps for a diff. perspective on things.
