Getting back into the hobby

Been a few years since I made a knife (1997 or so) and want to get back to it.

These days I feel that I can afford much better tools than I had in HS and college. Only used files, hacksaws, and other such items in those days.

Haven't forged much but really want to get going in that in the near future. I have 5 acres in Mineola, TX where I can set up a forge and get busy!

I look forward to bothering quite a few of you with questions as I once again get going.

As for tools now, I have a 1x30 grinder but am considering a 2" x ? soon. I have a small OLD HT oven, LOTS of hand tools and a big desire.
