I got pretty burnt out after Christmas last year, and spent about 6 months away from the shop. Finally excited about knifemaking again! There are a few things I'm not happy with on this knife, so it's going to be my own. :) Can't really complain about that. LOL

1084 - 1/8" thick, right hand chisel grind, convex edge
0.070" Ti liners
Silver twill and CF scales
0.040" Ti clip, heat colored

Brad, i really like the fact that tou identified this as a right hand chisel grind. One of the issues I've personally had with chisel grinds (other than the fact that I hate sharpening them) is that so many people do a left hand grind which makes it dang near impossible for a righty to cut efficiently with thier blades.

If all goes well..........you'll be more than welcome to come play in my new shop. Saying my prayers and keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be within a short driving distance from you in a couple of months. I could use the motivation of having someone to work on projects with considering my mentor will be so far away.

Awwww, are you asking me to be your new mentor? I'm honored. :) LOL...

I hope all that works out! I think that would be good motivation for both of us.

As for the grind, I'm a "lefty", but I am right-hand dominant. so this works well for me.
Hate sharpening?? Wha?? they are far easier for me than a double ground blade. And after talking to Jim at the AG Show 2 years ago, I've started doing convex sharpening (also like Tracy's vid) on all my knives.
