I love it when a first of anything comes off close to what was intended but the very real pleasure is with the learning that makes for immediate plans for the next one with improvments in either method or style already causing excitment when you look at it.

Best advice I can give right now is start with about 1/4” stock. I ran out steel for the belly I wanted using 3/16.
