drill chart for downloading and printing

Here is a drill and tap chart I made some time ago. I have copies hanging every where...

grab it and print it and hang it..

This would be an awesome thing to blow up and make one of those hard laminated desk blotter type things out of to leave right on a bench. Feel free to take that one and run with it Tracy should you want to sell them ;).

just in case you don't have a drill chart handy, to find out the drill size for your tap, just subtract the pitch of the thread from the od of the tap.

Ex. for 3/8-16

pitch formula - 1/ threads per inch ex. 1/16 = 0.0625

drill size formula - .375 - .0625 = .3125 which is 5/16

another reference chart:
this one is has the "standard" size ranges for button head screws..

If you're in the US, you can sign up on the Starrett website and get a wall chart plus the little cards free.

Plus there are people selling those free charts on Ebay.
