Daniel’s KITH WIP

Sorry to hear about that Daniel. I've almost thrown more than one knife in frustration myself. Unfortunately I don't have a large pasture to throw it into or I probably would.
 
I can usually keep my cool but this one got me for some reason. I’m ready for some time off I do believe. Lol. I will post pictures of the knife I’ll finish when I get back to the shop later.

I know what you mean. This Bowie has fought me every step of the way.
 
Felt you pain. My KITH is finished....after two Bowie’s I started met horrible deaths. But you did work really hard on that one. Sorry to hear. I ended up with a small gents Bowie. I usually don’t mind because I learn stuff along the way. Buy this time the only thing I learned is to clamp down things when using the drill press. Only 3 stitches so not bad. Although there is something exciting about starting a new blade.
 
Meet you in the middle at Wakazashi. Don’t know if I will participate next year just because I feel like the Recipient is getting the absolute short end of the stick.

I always feel like that. We knew going in it was a challenge do not worry about it. This is a friendly exchange no one is going to feel shortchanged...except maybe OPaul lol.

I think our exchange is great. Sharing our passion is what it’s about!
 
Thanks Fellas! It’s my best grind so far. For those of you that don’t like the design I don’t blame you I made a second of one that someone wanted and ran into some issues and ended up with this.
 
Well I was planning on getting the knife glued up today and Grandmas water was out all day so had to work on that all day… sorry I’ve been terrible about taking pictures.
