Finally found a few pictures I took a while back of the build. Further along now. Handles a little different then I was going for because I keept running into bad voids in the ironwood.

I'm the same way. Then I'll finally decide that I'm done and I look at it an hour later and see a half-a-dozen things that are "wrong" and I want to fix.

Finished the knife. I’ll post some pictures tonight when I get home. Stayed up till 2 o’clock last night getting your done. Need to finish the stitching on the sheath and sharpen the blade. It will ship out in the morning. Ran into some problems on this one I’ve never run into before. (Figures.) pics after while! I am so embarrassed to be sending this.

Don't sell yourself short Daniel. You have a nice knife there. The maker always sees things that others don't.

Forgot to get full pictures before I tapped it up for sharpening so I’ll have to get them in the morning but before oil and after oil.

I agree with Dennis. Very solid well made knife. Congratulations!Just to prove there is a knife coming. The lighting was horrible and I couldn’t see anything so the pictures are bad. This was also before I got an edge on it and a lanyard. Forgot to get pictures of the sheath. All right we’ve seen the good yeah let’s try to talk about the bad a little more. There is a slight gap between the handle and the tang. I don’t know if it was clamped wrong or if the wood moved overnight or it simply was not flat when I glued it up but it’s there. I didn’t have time to do my usual stone sharpening so I belt sharpened and rolled over one side of the riccaso a little. Also did not get a great edge and the edge bevel ended up a little bigger than I would’ve liked. There is some sort of small Nick on the Right side of the blade near the spine. Also there is a few scratches that popped up. And last that I remember but not least there is some weird marks in the wood by the pins that I have no idea where they came from.
I really felt like I could’ve done much better. I just let myself get a little too rushed. Thoroughly embarrassed of this knife. I feel overall the knife before this had a little better fit and finish.

I like it, a lot. We are always our own worst critics...well not me, my wife is my worst critic she considers herself quality control...
