Engraved Damascus Huntuer

At long last I've turned a billet I made a while back into a blade.
Steel: 1080 & 15N20
Now I need to put on a bolster & some slabs.....

Here she's ready to go for engraving. The handle is Curly Maple burl.

I have been coming back to this style lately. It is classic.

Nice handle. I had cut up some really nice curly maple that was sort of a blonde color. The figure was really nice but the coloring was not very dramatic. I decided to try some different colors and have them dyed and stabilized by K&G.
