CPM154 Recommendations

I have 3 sets of CPM154 blade & springs for slipjoints that I will be sending out for heat treatment. I will most likely be sending them to Peter's HT.

I am trying to figure out what target hardness to specify for the blades and springs. From what I've read on this material I should also specify a cryro treatment.

For the blades, I was thinking 59rc-60rc.

For the the springs, I was thinking 46rc - 49rc.

This is my 1st time using stainless and was hoping for recommendations from those with more experience using CPM154.

That hardness should be fine for the springs but personally, I would run the blades at about HRC-61. Call and talk to Brad, he'll know what will work best for the springs. He's a nice guy and he definitely knows his stuff.
