Here is another new tool. It is a round hole punch in 5/32.

It makes round holes. Just hit it with your hammer/maul after setting it in the right place.

I am cutting the hole for the snap. Centered in the top of the front cover.

Just place the tool in the snap and hit it with your maul. Just like driving a nail. Rotate the tool to get a nice rounded seal on the snap. Just right!!

A three hole practice on the interior weaving. Had to decide 1/8 or 5/32 inch holes. Going with 5/32.

I am a bit nervous about cutting the holes in the front cover. The plan is a hole in every other rounded spot on the pattern.

The copper beads have too big of holes. And I am not convinced about the blue.

Yea...that second one looks good Dennis, I don't know about the blue... it would look good with a knife with a blue handle, but hey, it's different and it looks good.

Now you made me look. Not a perfect match on the blue. But I think it will work out just fine.

Here is another new tool. A skiver.
It has a razor blade in it. It is sharp. This will be its maiden voyage.
Just take little bites and it will thin down the leather. I need to get the flap on the back piece angled for under the front flap.

Just keep cutting little pieces off and you get a pile that looks like potato chips.

As the sheath is built it will hide the gaps better when it is glued together.
