Good day to all

It is a tradition in my family to learn, to do something new each year. 3 Years ago I started off with knifes... and havent stopped yet. Well, there goes the family tradition, you would say. I dont, 1 year on the blade, 1 year on the metal, 1 year on the handle, 1 year on .... justifies it all I would say!

A little background about myself: I live and work on the west coast of Southern Africa in the the field of wildlife conservation. I am a active diver, archer and I dabble a little bit with metal. And unluckily I will not be able to supply anyone with animal skin, nor horn :D

My contributions will be very limited, but I hereby which to thank everyone that freely contribute to this site, your knowledge will make my knifemaking so mush more interesting.

Thank you

Thank you to all for not mentioning the spelling mistakes!
I did not expect this but I already have a question or two with regards to the sealing of mother- of- pearl. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures before the end of the month with the relevant questions.

Thanks again to all
