These are 2 new knives ordered for Christmas, for a father and son. Both are 1/8 th S30V about 4.5 inch blades. Guards and pins are 416 SS. Longer handle is Maple Burl from Burl Source. Shorter one is Ironwood.
Sheath is my design (not saying was not done by someone else first, but I am not aware of it). The retention clip is concealex, held on to sheath by chicago screw in back, with snap on front. The bend over the guard allows the knife to be drawn without undoing the snap, but keeps the knife secure otherwise. The kydex just flexes. If something breaks, the kydex is easily replace by just removing one screw.
Posting these for 2 reasons: Burl source wanted to see knives made with his wood and I am asking for feedback. Customer seemed pleased, has bought 3 knives and ordering another.
