01 and some spalted wood

Here is one that I just finished up this week . It is 3/16 01 tool steel with a nice grey patina finish on the blade. It has a spalted wood , i am not sure what the wood is . If you know , please let me know . Thanks for looking . Scott

I used some spalted beech once that looked just like that wood. Looks a little like bone.

Thanks guys . I don't know what the wood is , it just caught my eye on the table at the show , and i could see it on a knife with some patina to give it some contrast to make it stand out a bit . Thanks Tod. Thanks , Scott
