    Bevel Grinding Jig

I started with my bevel jig that I sell and a 1x30. Learning the process and angles with the jig helped me progress to freehand grinds. I was able to get decent grinds with the 1x30 but couldn't apply the kind of pressure needed because I would stall the motor Now having a 2x72 makes a world of...

    Finishing the spine spine advice?

Dremel makes a split Dremel Split Mandrel mandrel that has a slot cut into it- that way you can take different grits of sandpapaer and use it to finish all the way around the whole handle and works great in the finger wells.

    Which Bandsaw blade?

For my HF portaband I use Morse blades. 14/18 tpi. I get them on Amazon. 3 pack is $16. They last a good while. I cut 1/8 AEB-L. Can make 15 blades or more easy on 1 blade.

Works great. Kyle has a video and explanation of the details. But I can tell you it is very accurate and doesn't need much to make it track perfect.

My new grinder- hot off the press! Just got this in the mail yesterday. Took a few hours ( with some mods to my bench and VFD holder) to get up and running. My first impressions on this grinder are great. Solid, stable, quiet, and more power than the 1x30! This is a Kadrmas Kreation SRG 1.5-...

    One of “those” purchases...

I have gotten a few of the Ceramic Trizacts- as oppossed to the AO. I have not used yet. These Ceramics are VERY stiff and feel VERY aggressive. Any experience with these? Do they polish and work like the AO? I am worried that I got these and they will not perform the same as I have gotten...

    Top three mistakes rookies make,,,

    1. Trying to get it done too fast 2. Making a knife design that is not "beginner friendly" 3. Not using a jig. Nothing wrong with them- they only hold the desired angle- you still need to provide the speed and pressure control. My jig demo: Jig use and demo
