Sorry for the length. It's a real sleeper if you try to watch it all at once.
I have plans to put together a couple more videos with Kieth Johnson. One will be building a lock back and the other will be a slippy. We hope to shoot them when the glacial ice here in Minnesota melts back which looks like early July.
I have gotten a few of the Ceramic Trizacts- as oppossed to the AO. I have not used yet. These Ceramics are VERY stiff and feel VERY aggressive. Any experience with these? Do they polish and work like the AO? I am worried that I got these and they will not perform the same as I have gotten used to with the traditional ones.
Thxs for the reply. I will share my findings and pics after I use them.they will work differently than the engineered AO.
A file guide for plunge lines. When I started I tried everything to make decent symmetrical plunges but always ruined them. I tried filing them with a chainsaw file but naw...not even close. Then when I tried the file guide its like magic.
Yep, and since John and others shared the tip about moving your guide back a hair during finish grinding no more chasing scratches in my plunges. I cannot wait to grind my next knife with plunges. I have two more plungeless kitchen knives to do then it’s on.
Do you mean a wire brush Murph??
