    6 that I worked on this weekend- ground to 80 grit- will move up the grits this week. The last one needs a bit more on a fresh 80- belt got dull! Link to my IG video of this: 6 of my Primo models

    I have "revisited" or retouched 3/4 of the earlier blades I have made in some form or fashion. It is a continual learning and growth process as your skills and perspective expand.

    Question on when to add your Makers Mark

    I wanted to ask when most of you add your mark- prior to or after handle fit up. I have seen it and done it myself both ways. There are pros and cons to both in my opinion. Just looking for feedback/advice.

    Yes- this is what I was originally refering to and trying to articulate- both platen and small wheel are mounted pn opposite sides and the arm is rotated as needed.

    Thanks Chris. That's what I figured on the sizes. As for the tooling arm, I meant having the holder attached AT THE SAME TIME as the flat platen. I saw a video of someone that had his holder attached WHILE the platen was attached, just on the opposite side of the arm. Didn't look like it...

    I am looking at getting a small wheel attachment and I have 2 questions: What is the most common size of the small wheels that gets used? Can the holder be attached to the tooling arm that currently has a flat platen attached?

    Good to hear Mark that jig taught me to grind freehand. If you go to a 2x72, you will find grinding much easier. Learning on a 1 x 30 is a great tool to move up from.

    Save that blank to practice on. Use the jig you bought for the swedge Work perfectly for that as well as main bevels
