Blackish knife with brass pins okay?

I personally like the contrast of brass against dark wood .... I’m just getting started in this hole craft but aesthetically, I like it. Stainless pins an option?

Thanks! Got a little frisky roughing up for the epoxy .... you can see a little at the front of the scales. Gonna do some hand sanding to ease the edges, paste wax the scales and make a leather sheath for it.

Weather was nice today so I left work a little early and did some more shaping on the scales and polishing on the dashi. No pics but I hope to have it glued up tomorrow.

    This weeks work

When I make sheaths, I drill as opposed to trying to use pricking irons. By the time you stack all the layers, including the welt, a pricking iron/punch would not go all the way through. Makers Mark idea!

I like the fallout logo in Barone as well. I could see a situation where you may use both on different blades, but that's just me.

I don't know...maybe community input would assist in making a decision or at least narrowing things down, depending on how many ideas you have. Plus, I'd be interested in seeing the process :D
