    Old hog hunt video

Actually, and I hate to say it but that muzzleloader has a scope on it :(, I know that's blasphemy but that gun has a long range Green Mountain barrel on it. it's a 200 yrd rifle. one hunt spot I have is a good 130 yard shot so I tote that one there during muzzleloader season. my others have...

    Help with stop pins

Aikenn, this thread is three years old, you should post a new thread with your question about bolsters, but the way I do it is with 0-80 screws thru the bolster into the liners. my stop pins are 3/32 hardened pins that sit flush with the liners. I use pivot pins that use 4-40 buttonhead screws...

    Old hog hunt video

I found an old video of a hog I shot back in 2010. I shot it with a .50 muzzleloader, it's not graphic and there's no blood so I thought it would be ok to post. Tracy if you find this video offensive to the forum please delete it. I still remember that day, it was early morning and in the low...

    Belt knife...

Thanks guys, 1/16" pins is about all I use for pins Ken. I always thought bigger pins detract from the scales themselves and brought the eyes to the larger pins more so that the actual handle material.

    a few knives and sheaths...

I'm not a big fan either Doug. I think the...wow-cool factor of zipping open an animal is what attracts people to them. personally I've only found them useful for skinning out legs on an animal but properly using a drop point blade upside down does the same thing. I make them once in a while but...
