Here's a Skinner and Sheath I made in the last few days. The scales are crotch Walnut. The steel is 1095.Overall length 9 1/2"....Handle 4 1/2" ..Blade 5" to scales.... Hope y'all like it....Thanks for looking!!:)

Looks great Frank. What kind of finish is on the walnut?

Good looking sheath too. Keep up the good work.

Robert, on this Walnut, I applied a Lacquer coat and let it dry good. Then used 0000 Steel wool and took part of the shine off and then went to the Buffer and buffed with Pink Scratchless and then waxed using "Briwax"....hope this helps:)
