Received my stencil today.What do ya'll think?

I received my stencil from Ernie today.I tried etching on a piece of knife steel,and think it turned out ok.I am not completely satisfied with the results,its just not as clean as I think it should be,but I guess it will take a little practice.

I would be thankfull for any advice anyone might have that may help me out.

I am using a pc power supply,and the highest voltage I can get is a little over 6 vdc.I am also using the same saltwater solution I have always used.

What dont you like about it?
I think it looks good. Hard to tell by the pic but I would like it a little darker but thats just personal preference.

Hey Shank,it's darker than the pic shows.I guess what I didn't like was when I enlarged the pic,it had been taken under a 5x glass,the edges looked a little ragged,but it looks good on a knife.

How deep do most of you make your etch.the first on a knife,looks a little shallow.

Looks almost to deep to me. That might be why the edges look raged.

Mine, I can just catch my nail on it.

Thanks Ernie,you are right.I did a blade and it was not as deep,but it was sharp.
