Wow that one Has a lot going on what a beauty that guard is wild!! I'm new here can you explain it's function? Just for storing it in sheath?

Yes that's mostly the function of the pivoting guard. It's a large guard and would get in the way with any other sheath style. The sheath is large too and must be worn on the left side and cross drawn with the right hand.
 
Well I like it. I have to say I went back and looked at a bunch of your knives and holy cow you have some real creative knives that are awesome!

That frame handle piece you were working on, got my brain gears spinning. I think I need to tackle a bowie! lol!

Bruce, this is absolutely gorgeous! The blade, the engraving, the handle. The wood has so much depth to it. If you don't mind me asking, what type of finish did you use on the wood to make it pop like that?

This finish is several coats of super glue, sanded to 2500 grit and buffed with white rouge
 
I'm always in awe when I look on this thread. I really love the way that dagger is looking. The blue fire bowie is stunning, your a very talented guy Mr. Bump
