Hey guts, I just finished a kitchen slicing knife and I used Osage Orange for the handle scales. I used African Blackwood for the handle liners and handmade African Blackwood for the pins (3). I put a 5 coat CA finish on the knife and buffed with carnuba wax. Looking for opinions on the use of wood pins and also on how you think this knife will ware.
NOTE: The black on the handle came from some left over dye residue from the keeper strap on the sheath. It wiped right off.
