I wasn't sure if this post belongs in this section or the sheath making section.
This section was chosen because the question relates more to what would work better for the knife rather than how to make the sheath.
The sheath is for a knife I'm making very similar to the one in the picture (my knife is 95% done...just waiting for the darn tung oil to dry
...want to finish it before posting pictures)
(the circle represents a snap button)
Style-wise I like them both.
Function-wise, I get the feeling the red outline will be quicker and easier to open but the black outline will hold the knife better.
What are your thoughts?
I'm open to any other suggestions.
