what's this?

Hi Guys! I just found this to add to my collection.
Has anyone seen this kind of a knife before? It kinda looks like it may be from India

Lol. Have practically same set. Mine has a dagger style knife blade. Brass footings with what looks like steel top top fittings. Mine was a gift from a family in Pakistan. My handles have similar pattern to case carvings.. of course similar styles are found in throughout southeast Asia and other parts.
So.. knifes4me. Unless you can prove a it was owned by a well known person its worth what the tourist is willing to pay.
 
I bought one on Ebay a couple of years ago in the $15.00-$20.00 range, I wanted to see the wooden sheath, it's kind of interesting. The handle is too short and the steel is soft but I do like the sheath.

ya! They look a lot alike, thanks for the reply. Do you have any other information on these?

I do not. He said he bought it at an antique store. He was expecting it to have dual knives instead of a knife and fork. I do like the carvings on the wood. The knife itself is of questionable steel. But it makes for a cool conversation piece.
