Went a different direction on these two

Thanks, they were a lot of fun to make. Nothing fancy or high finish, I'm calling them relics. I've got the handles glued up and I'll finish them off tomorrow and post of finished pictures.

Ken, thank you. This is the first time I've ever tried a grind like this so it's definitely a learning curve.
The notch is just a visual element to give it some interest. As you can see in the photo's I haven't spent a lot of time on the blades other than the grinding. The edges are essentially left in the rough and I gave the flats some texture during normalizing.
I pulled the clamps off this morning and I think the scale material I picked out looks pretty good, especially the one on the spear point. I'll post them up later.
