Thought I would post this image of my pals son with a knife I made that I let him have, the lad, not his dad....he can pay lol.
No seriously I gave the knife to his son as he did me a favour as his father trued the plates on my grinder and also turned me some new locking nut/washer combinations in order the grinder had no wobble.
The knife is a 52100 Scandi, stabilised Burr Elm (green resin), white G10 liners and a Kydex sheath. Osian who is now the proud owner of the knife will be using it for gralloching deer when he goes deer stalking with his father.
A good knife for him as he will need to learn to keep it dry / oiled which as I said to his father is good for teaching youngsters how to look after kit. I am sure he will be the envy of his Scout group with his own custom knife ...and the scout leaders lol.
Hope it brings him many happy hours of use and bonding time with his father.
