I've never ground a Warncliff style blade,so if this is not right tell me what I need to do.
What I want to know,is this right profile,or is there more to it??
Thanks,
Keith, sorry this is so crude of a drawing. As I was telling you on the phone, I'm stuck at the office doing paperwork and don't have my drawing stuff with me. If you need a detailed design, just shoot me a message with you dimensions needed and I'll sketch you up a design tonight and scan and e-mail it to you in the morning.
That's it Murph.
Keith's first grind was more like a Sheeps Foot.
Although Keith may be very fond of sheep, I don't think that was the design his customer was looking for.
LOL
Steve
I don't know where the dividing line is, between sheep's foot and wharncliff but its a matter of degree. Some people like a little more radius, some like a little more of a point.
I've always thought the main difference between a sheepsfoot and a warncliffe was that the warncliffe has a fine point... if it was me, I'd make the point finer.
