Just finished this one up. Forged from 1075. G-10 guard and spacers with bronze accents. Black walnut handle. Blade is about 4".

I have tried that one, as well as the bevel on the base of the handle butt, and I have failed every time. It's those tiny little details that blow me away when I see them. They are impossibly difficult to do well.

Its really hard to take a single pic that highlights all the details at once. In order to make the other details visible and clear, showing the figure in the wood suffers.

So here's a better pic of just the finished handle. It really is a stunning piece of wood.
