Walnut burl grips

My brother wanted me to make new grips for the revolver he bought for his son, so today I got started on them. I used some of the walnut burl that I had cut up and dried. He was pleased, and now wants a set for his super blackhawk.

Very nice, to say the least.

I have one like it with 22LR / 22Mag. with a 9 1/2" barrel. My wife hates to shoot because of the long barrel but I love it, it's very accurate!!

Very nice, I don't see screws, how did you set the handles?

Thanks guys. The grips are just setting on the gun. Just ordered the screws and ferules from Brownell's. I wish there was a way to put them on without visible fasteners.

I agree. Damn shame to run a screw through wood that nice.
