W2 & Amboyna burl bowie

I just completed this bowie. 8 1/4" W2 blade, twist Damascus guard and fluted spacers, raised/rounded fileworked bronze spacer. Carved/sculpted stabilized amboyna burl handle. 13 1/8" overall.

Hi Bruce. This is stabilized but I still do the sane process as natural wood, regardless.

I use teak oil, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Tru oil was something VERY similar just rebranded/repackaged.

So this has about 6 coats of teak oil wet sanded into the finish starting at 220 grit. Finished off with gunstock wax.
