Rome Hutchings will give a demo on how to forge a set of tongs... maybe two if there is enough interest.
 
This is going to be fun are you sure you want this much stuff in one place for me to get in trouble with.
Beth is going to be mad she is not going to like keeping a eye on me running all over. . Well Les and Jason be great to finally meet you guys you will have a blast. Don't worry Jess and Peter John Henry's got nothing on me!

We have permission from our neighbors to allow some camper trailers on the adjacent grassy area.
These have to be registered up front. There is no water or electric hookups. You will not be able to hook up to the building. This is in city limits and there is a strict no burning law so no camp fires of any kind, open or enclosed.

We will start with a limit of 7 camper trailers and will need to know the length of the trailer to see how many we can fit in the space.

We should also be able to handle up to 20 tents.

Dang it I am really beginning to regret living so far away. This sounds like a great opportunity!!
 
Just heard from another steel company. We expect Bohler-Uddahom to have some reps and setting up. More details in a week on that.

We also expect one of their metallurgists from another division of Bohler (they have several) to attend Friday afternoon and will be giving a short talk with Q&Q on heat treating.
 
Really looking forward to this. Was wishing it wasn't so far off, but on the bright side- it gives me more time to save up $ to take advantage of the discounts and the 'no shipping'!:19:
 
This is just about full.
We have room for 5 more makers.

With makers, instructors, vendors and a few local guests, this will put us at just about 100 people.

We have room on Saturday for 10 knife show seller tables left.

On on the tables for Saturday. It's OK to share a table with others if you don't have enough to fill a table or just want to share. Beth will be checking with each participant to verify if you want a table space on Saturday. We need to do the math to make sure we have the space requirements planned out.

A reminder we do not have tables/chairs to borrow/loan/provide for the show on Saturday. We have made arrangements with a local rental firm to provide tables. We will rent them at cost. Bring your own table/chairs or contact Beth to make rental arrangements.
