USN MkI Combat Knife Sheath, aka "Navy KaBar", but I have never seen one with the embossing. I have one downstairs, same sheath, but no USN. Looks too perfect to be anything other than machine stamping. Interesting. Where's Bernard Levine when you need him?
Can anyone point me in the right direction on finding information on his sheath? Maybe one of you has reference material or a site to recommend anything that would help. I have checked eBay, Google, etc. can't find anything.
Try searching the military memoriblia sites. There are a couple of forums where military collectibles are their mainstay. A 5 minute search on one site and i found a ton of info on Navy knife sheaths.
