The first one is a seax that started out to be a large bollock dagger but changed it's mind. The blade is of 9260 which was marquenched at 500 degrees then tempered for three, two hour cycles at 425. It is 11" long and 1 3/8" wide at the handle. The handle is of maple and is 8" long in keeping with the style. It is held on with one steel pin.

The second is a spear point blade 5 1/4" from point to bolster. The steel used was 52100 and was austempered at 440 degrees then oven tempered for 2 hours at 425. The OAL is 9 3/4". The bolster and butt cap are of brass and the handle is rosewood. All three are held on with mosiac pins. You'll have to take my word for the fact that it has a nice palm swell 'cause I blew uploading that view.

The third knife was like the spear point but it broke while I was testing the edge. All three of the blades were shown earlier as WIP's.
