I think that is caused by the drawing dies on my press. That is my best guess.That looks really good! I love the waviness that shows. Did you do anything special to achieve that?

Thanks John. I am starting to like working in San-Mai, Damascus and cannister more than mono steel even though its more work. I enjoy the forge welding part. I think next I may try a Go-Mai blade with 1084 outside, 15N20 in the middle and 1084 on the inside. That should etch dark except for the 15N20 line. May be a cool look.Chris, awesome piece!!!
