Turning Stabilized Wood

I have yet to attempt it, but wanting to.

Just curious if anyone had experiance turning stabilized wood blocks?

Does it turn like regular wood? Is there anything one should know before attempting it?

I've turned some for things other than knives and it does seem to turn easier than unstabilized wood...less tearout. As always, sharp tools helps.

I have done it many times. It does turn very well. Obviously harder than reg wood but turns well. Of course thats assuming it was done by a professional. (WSSI/KG) -L

Turns easier, far less chips and tear outs. Use sharp tools, as always. Finish with high grit finishing pads.
